Songwriting Lessons

Every lesson is custom-built to meet your specific needs as a songwriter. Whether you're just getting started or have years of experience, sessions are tailored to fit your goals. Lessons are available online or in-person, one-on-one or in small groups.  We will focus on songwriting exercises to engage your inner creator and songwriting tools to strengthen your inner editor.  Depending on your preferences, we can focus on anything from songwriting theory to specific songs you are currently writing.  The lessons build on 25 years of songwriting experience, years of teaching songwriting at universities around Europe, and a small library of songwriting literature.

Song Editing

Whether you have an unfinished idea, want a second pair of ears on a nearly finished song, or are a non-native English speaker looking to fine-tune your lyrics — a fresh perspective can help unlock your song’s full potential.

Co-writing & Ghost Writing

Co-writing has given birth to some of my favorite songs!  When people with different backgrounds and tastes throw their creativity together, then you never know what you’re going to get.  If you want to try something new for your own project or simply want to get a behind-the-scenes view of how I write, then this is for you.  If co-writing isn’t for you, but you want a custom made song/s for your own artistic project or would like to give the gift of a song to yourself or someone else, then ghost writing might be what you’re looking for.

Available online or in person in Vienna, Austria.

In-person sessions outside of Vienna can be arranged.

Prices:

Songwriting Lesson Price:

€75 per one hour individual session

Group rates available upon request.

Song Editing Prices:

€50 per song (solo edit, max 1 hour)

€75 per hour (collaborative edit online or in person)

Co-Writing Prices & Terms:

€50 per hour + % of royalties to be agreed upon
