I’ve been driving around my hometown and have seen a lot of these hung up like Christmas lights, sports flags, or Halloween decorations. Instead of just reading “Keep America Great”, some even read “No More Bullshit” or “Fuck Your Feelings”. This type of fanfare makes it a little easier to understand why someone who would otherwise benefit from free healthcare, better education, and universal income could be tricked into supporting a candidate whose mission it is to discredit and dismantle the state so the rich can have more power and the rest of us are more easily disposable. So many of them are good-hearted people and it’s so sad to see them misled like this. I just hope that they will still have the right to change if we have to go through a few more years of this shameful digression as a society and a republic.
