The new album, “Burnt Tongue” will be printed on orange marbled vinyl 🧡 Contrary to popular belief, the title did not come from eating too many scalding hot pizzas or drinking a million coffees while recording in Sicily. It comes from a story I tell in one of the songs on the album about a night in my teens when my friends and I tried to start a fire with wet driftwood on the banks of the Mississippi. We covered the wood in gas and, when I went to light it, the vapor ignited in my face. The vinyl is the same color of what the inside of the flames looked like 🔥
