I was inspired by the yard signs that I’ve seen saying “No More Bullshit” and “Fuck Your Feelings” in support of our virtuous, christian president’s campaign. I can completely relate to the sentiment. After four years of lies and childish avoidant insults as a response to matters of life and death, I can actually start to smell the physical bullshit smudged all over little orange hands going to town on another Orwellian tweet. This guy is the bullshit master. If spouting bullshit was an art, then Trump would be DaVinci. So I’m with ya neighbor, let’s all say it together, “No More Bullshit”! And concerning the whole “Fuck Your Feelings” thing. Your rich New Yorker president wasn’t elected by middle American white-working-poor, whose standard of living has been plummeting to Third World levels since Reagan started slashing away any governmental protection of the Middle Class, based on facts. You voted based on feelings. Trump is a master of making his supports feel good about who he’s told them they are and momentarily live in a delusion where they don’t have to adapt to a changing world, but rather that that world should be changed to fit their predispositions and prejudices. A safe place where one can be openly racist and hope for a police state enforced theocracy. Well, I hate to rain on that tiki torch parade of yours, but facts don’t care about feelings. And you might feel real good about having political representation that plays to your race or religion now, but behind Trumps identity politics lies a mission to destroy the state itself, because he and his backers have the shortsighted, Medieval view that the state stands in their way of gaining more power and, without it in their way, they will take the democratically vested power away from people like you even more than they already have. So if you want a future where you and everyone else other than a few hundred people at the top are dirt poor and we’re all tricked into hating each other because of race or religion or someone’s right to own a gun or a woman’s right to her own body, then please turn that “Fuck Your Feelings” sign around in your yard so you can read what the rest of us want to tell you.
